The Photographers

Your photographers are a two person team, Michael and Melody, who just happen to be mother and son! You will have experience from both generations available to capture those special moments in your life.

Both Melody and Michael have worked within weddings for the past fifteen years, initially from the wedding planning and reception industries, they started wedding photography while living in Australia back in 2005. After moving to B.C. Canada, the passion of photography was used primarily with wildlife as there is such an amazing choice right on the doorstep! Please visit www.naturesimages.ca . As the family expanded with partners and babies it reignited the need to focus on capturing "people" moments! Weddings! Babies! Children and even Pets! They love being involved in life's celebrations and this is their contribution. For weddings, their experience in the industry brings with it a sense of trust, that all is taken care of and you can relax. Although based in Campbell River, weddings are covered anywhere on Vancouver Island and other destinations by arrangement. Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. are known destinations. When it comes to maternity and newborn look no further. The studio is equipped with all types of lighting and wardrobe for special maternity photo sessions or if weather is kind to us take it on location :) Newborn babies are well catered for in a controlled environment that is purpose built for their safety and comfort. When it comes to young children be prepared to sit back and let Melody demonstrate the "tickle monster" always a hit with toddlers and young children.
